HAPPENING ||

A group of women "interested in consciousraising"" have helped start about 12 consciousraising (c-r) groups since last January, according to Ms. Nancy Sarason. At a recent open meeting at Ms. Sarason's house 15. new women viewed a slide show introducing women to the concepts of feminism. A discussion followed.

Four new c-r groups will probably be formed in the near future consisting of these 15 women plus women who have called Cleveland Women's Counseling requesting to be placed in touch with a c-r group. Two "starters" attend new c-r group meetings for about 3 weeks, or until the new women gain confidence. If any woman is interested in joining a c-r group, call Cleveland Women's Counseling at 321-8585.
