HAPPENING ||
A group of women "interested in consciousraising"" have helped start about 12 consciousraising (c-r) groups since last January, according to Ms. Nancy Sarason. At a recent open meeting at Ms. Sarason's house 15. new women viewed a slide show introducing women to the concepts of feminism. A discussion followed.
Four new c-r groups will probably be formed in the near future consisting of these 15 women plus women who have called Cleveland Women's Counseling requesting to be placed in touch with a c-r group. Two "starters" attend new c-r group meetings for about 3 weeks, or until the new women gain confidence. If any woman is interested in joining a c-r group, call Cleveland Women's Counseling at 321-8585.

Vinyl chloride was recently discovered to cause liver cancer and other liver diseases in people who manufacture and work with it.
Six of the recalled sprays were manufactured by Clairol, Inc., and 14 by Bonat, Inc., for use in beauty shops, the FDA said.
